Getting ready to begin my new project, "Unfamiliar!" Please follow me here: Unfamiliar.
Recently learned that one of the images from my Inaccessible series made it into the summer issue of SHOTS Magazine. Very exciting. The theme for the summer issue was an open one. Tons of great work in there. Check it out!
The In Our Hood exhibit will be opening on May 18, with an opening reception on May 25 from 6-8pm at Artspace (614 S Street NW), and 7-9pm at Pleasant Plains Workshop (2608 Georgia Ave NW).
I will have a photo from my "Vacant" series on display in this exhibit.
In Our ‘Hood- a community-sourced exhibition surrounding themes of gentrification and community presented at Artspace DC and Pleasant Plains Workshop.

I've recently added 2 new series to my portfolios section. One is "Vacant" series, and the other are some images from an old flea market in South Carolina that I shot over the summer. Will be adding to these portfolios as well, so be sure to check back later for more.
Three of my images from my "Surface" series won a merit award in Color Magazine's competition and were published in the October Special Issue #86.
My image, "Willows I" made finalist in Camera Obscura Journal's winter photography competition! The image was published in Volume 3, which came out in July, 2011
UPDATE: My photographs have been moved to the Hyattsville location of Busboys and Poets and will be on view through February 2012
I am currently exhibiting several pieces, along with a few other artists, at the Busboys and Poets restaurant on 5th and K NW. Some of my "surface" pieces as well as some of the "city" pieces are on display. Show will be up until August!
Go check it out!
